Role Description

This is a full-time position for a Software Engineer at Embed Software Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-integrity safety-critical software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products. This is a hybrid role based in Kirkcaldy, with flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

• Background in Computer Science and Software Development
• Proficiency in programming and object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Knowledge of software testing and verification techniques
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in embedded systems development
• Familiarity with high-integrity, safety-critical software engineering practices
• Knowledge of regulatory standards for medical software, including ISO 13485, IEC 62304, and FDA requirements
